Full Keyboard Navigation

All interactive filters, modals, and application buttons are navigable using Tab, Enter, and Arrow keys with clear focus rings.

High Contrast & Legibility

High-contrast text color ratios, clear typographic hierarchy, and responsive fluid zoom up to 200% without loss of content.

3. Assistive Technology Compatibility

SMECjobs is tested against standard screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack) and speech recognition software:

Descriptive aria-label and role attributes across all job cards, modals, and icon buttons.
Logical heading structure (H1 → H2 → H3) enabling smooth screen reader navigation.
